Born in Szczecin, Poland (1950), Polish-American artist, painter, graphic designer, set designer, curator, and educator. School of Arts in Tarnów in 1969. Completed his degree at the Faculty of Painting in the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow in the studio of Prof. Jonasz Stern (1976). Received Postgraduate diploma from the department of set design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow (1977) and from Hunter College, NYC, where he studied Graphic Design & Photography (1993-1995). A grant holder of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage 2020 (artistic scholarship in the field of visual arts).
Member of the Association of Polish Visual Artists, Warsaw District (until 2024), painting and graphics section. Meritorious Cultural Activist, vice president of andART foundation that aims to combine art with education (2012-2020).
He took part in 25 individual exhibitions and 120 collective exhibitions across Poland, Europe, and United States. He curated over 125 Polish and international exhibitions in Tarnów, Warsaw, Museum of King John III's Palace at Wilanów, Royal Lazienki Warsaw (PL), Berlin (DE), New York, Caskill, Baltimore & Los Angeles (USA), Luxemburg (LU), Monte Carlo (MCO), Tokyo (J), Roma (IT), Mexico City (MX), Janipur i Delhi (IN), among others.
He created set designs and costumes for Silva Rerum Dance Theatre in Cracow between 1984 and 1988. He then went to the United States, where he stayed for twelve years (1988-2000). During that time, he designed sets and costumes for Whitman Theatre, Lincoln Center, Washington Square Church, among others, He participated in painting exhibitions in New York.
He is the originator and creator of a film society „Senses of Art: then and now” as well as a founder of an artistic and educational lecture series „Senses of Art”, „The Joy of Creation”, „Ways of recording”, „Anyone can paint” or "Academy andART" (before „Royal Academy of Art”) held in Wilanów, Warsaw.
He currently paints in a studio and provides artistic education.
